Lead Service Tech
Full-Time
Summary:
Takes on all facets of repair shop operations, ensuring both productivity and the quality of repairs. Contributes significantly to the company's success by engaging in various business functions. This role demands a highly skilled mechanic capable of performing advanced repairs while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include completing complex tasks such as suspension servicing, wheel building, hydraulic brake bleeds, electronic shifting diagnostics, internally geared hub maintenance, and full bicycle overhauls.
Reports To: Service Manager
Requirements:
- 5+ years of cycling industry service experience.
- Good communication skills and independent problem solving skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability adapt in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs overhead and 50 lbs to shoulder height.
- Ability to stand at a bike repair stand for an entire 8-hour work shift.
- Ability to use hand tools with repetitive motions, including twisting, pushing and pulling.
- Ability to succeed in goal-oriented, disciplined environment.
- Self starter.
- Applicants should be available to work Saturdays.
- E-Bike experience is a plus.
Wages:
- $25 - $30 per hour, depending on experience
