Trail Talk Special Guest Ken Avery
Ken is the VP of Marketing and Product design at Vittoria Tires. You might not know Ken, but you DEFINITELY know some of his tires: He's the brains behind some of the most beloved trail tires of all time - the Minion, the Ardent, the Ikon, and the Highroller are just a few of his designs from his years at Maxxis. More recently, he's taken his deep knowledge of what works and what doesn't and applied it to some cutting edge technology to create instant classics in the Mezcal, the Martello, the Barzo, and the Terreno family of mixed terrain tires. Ken is one of the most knowledgeable and approachable guys in the industry, and has a way of taking very technical concepts and describing them in a way all of us can understand and appreciate. He'll be at JRA on Monday, February 4th.
Local advocacy/ action!
Please consider stopping by and voicing your support for the completion of the Clippership Connector Path on Tuesday, January 29th at Medford City Hall. The proposed plan will link together previously disparate sections of riverfront pathway, creating a safer and more pedestrian-friendly route along the Mystic River. We're all about making our community more walk/bikeable, and creating alternative ways to get folks where they need to be - we'll be there, and hope to see y'all on Tuesday!
