LEARN TO FIX YOUR BIKE WITH
HANDS-ON REPAIR CLASSES AT JRA!
Our friendly instructors will provide you with personal, step-by-step instruction—while you repair your own bike. No experience necessary, and no technical knowledge is required. Whether you are new to bikes or an experienced rider, these classes will benefit you.

Two students minimum, four maximum per class.
We’ll teach you about tires and inner tubes, how to fix your flat tire, and how to diagnose when new tires are required. Also, we can go over basic rim brake adjustments.
Shifting systems and their operation will be discussed, and participants will be taught how to install shifter cables and housing and adjust the derailleurs.
Learn how to properly align and adjust your disc brake caliper, and how to install new pads and rotors. Also we will discuss common causes of problems in disc brakes. (Sorry! How to bleed a hydraulic disc brake is not covered in this course.)
First, you will learn to set the air pressure in your shock or fork so that it works best for you. Then we will talk about the adjustments available on today’s suspension forks and shocks, and how to use them. Get the most out of your bike with this class!
Bring the scouts or any group of curious kids for a basic understanding and appreciation of our favorite subject: BIKES! They will learn the basic mechanics of how a bicycle works ad well as how to change a flat tire!
